As ScanTech Sciences’ first-ever Electronic Cold-Pasteurization™ (ECP™) facility nears completion, hiring has increased for multiple departments across the organization. The company currently has approximately 75 employees and expects to add 125 more jobs before the end of 2019.

The Rio Grande Valley ECP™ Center, ScanTech Sciences’ first commercial facility, has begun opening its doors for initial demo tours and presentations for potential customers, signaling the need for a key position. Marc Petitpas was named Director of National Sales in October and will introduce customers to ScanTech Sciences’ proprietary treatment process of Electronic Cold-Pasteurization™ and will facilitate testing and onboarding of their products.

Marc Petitpas is a sales management professional with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. He brings his passion for building successful customer partnerships to ScanTech Sciences as Director of National Sales.

Prior to joining ScanTech Sciences, Marc served as Head of Sales Foodservice for Fresh Express Incorporated, Vice President of Sales National Accounts for Cavendish Farms Inc and Director of Category Management for Sobey’s Inc. experienced in distribution, manufacturing, retail and foodservice.

Marc earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island and an Executive Leadership Diploma from Richard Ivey School of Business.
