REVEAM SHOWCASES ELECTRONIC COLD-PASTEURIZATION™ AT THE 26TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE APPLICATION OF ACCELERATORS IN RESEARCH & INDUSTRY IN DENTON, TEXAS
The 26th International Conference on the Application of Accelerators in Research and Industry (CAARI) Conference series brings together scientists, engineers, professors, physicians and students from all over the world who use particle accelerators in their research and industrial applications.
(Denton, Texas) – At the invitation of CAARI organizers, Reveam executives Chip Starns and Jeff Pelletier, attended the conference to present Electronic Cold-Pasteurization™ (ECP™) as an innovative application of E-beam accelerator technology in the food safety and waste sector.
The conference, commonly referred to as CAARI-SNEAP 2022, included the 26th International Conference on the Application of Accelerators in Research and Industry and the 53rd International Symposium of Northeastern Accelerator Personnel. The CAARI Conference series brings together scientists, engineers, professors, physicians and students from all over the world who use particle accelerators in their research and industrial applications. SNEAP is an important platform for the international accelerator technical and engineering community that meets to discuss and exchange information relevant to maintenance, operation, management and safety issues of accelerators and associated facilities.
This conference was hosted by the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, TX, Sandia National
Laboratories (SNL) in Albuquerque, NM, and Livermore, CA, and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in Los Alamos, NM. CAARI-SNEAP 2022 is also being supported by several other U.S. National Laboratories, industries and agencies most identified with accelerator technology.
Reveam’s ECP™ technology was highlighted as part of the conference’s coveted Book of Abstracts, in which innovative areas of research and industrial applications are highlighted from around the world. “Innovation is a cornerstone for our success in scaling advanced technologies into sustainable commercial business ventures. We are proud to showcase our E-beam ECP™ technology as a viable treatment solution to create a safer and more resilient food supply, while reducing environmental impacts.” said Jeff Pelletier, Reveam’s Chief Technology Officer and Senior VP of Engineering.
